AUSI Snorkelling

AUSI Snorkel Diver

 

Role

The AUSI Snorkel Diver course is designed to train divers to snorkel dive in open water with direct access to the surface with a similarly qualified and experienced snorkel diver during daylight hours without the direct supervision of an instructor.
The level of certification is determined by the student's duck diving ability, ie Level I – at least 3 m (10ft), Level II – at least 6 m (20ft) and level III – 9m (30 ft).
Note: AUSI Junior Snorkel Divers must dive with a qualified parent or guardian or an AUSI Snorkel Diver Instructor or higher.
